PCU GP14 World Championships 2022 – Results

Skerries Sailing Club are excited to be hosting the Progressive Credit Union GP14 World Championships 2022 which will take place August 14th to 19th 2022. We last hosted this event in 1997 and memories of a great week are still alive by locals, club members & GP14s sailors that attended. We are expecting 105 boats and the sailors are really in for a treat. We boast a top class sailing area directly off the Harbour of Skerries and the week long event should see varying weather conditions. Off water a full social programme is being arranged at the club all week. The town is also awash with some great restaurants and in mid August will be in the height of the summer season. Being on a peninsula we get some beautiful sunsets across the bay in the summer and Skerries is a popular tourist destination with some fabulous beaches in the town. This event is the ideal family holiday. A host of events will also be arranged for non sailors. Dublin City Centre is also just 30 minutes on the train so there is plenty to see within close proximity to Skerries.

Click here for the events Official Notice board. Here you will find sailing instructions, etc and other documents relating to event management (including online forms for seeking redress, etc). This will be the events Virtual Official Noticeboard during the event.
