2021 SSC Juniors August Series

After a briefing by the container and a quick safety check for bailers, mast clamps and painters, 11
sailors took to the water in their Optimists and sailed 2 races on a Triangle course.
The short line made for an exciting start to both races and there were no Individual or General Recalls,
and fortunately no protests!
Only a few shouts for “720” could be heard from the committee boat
With the windward mark dropped only a few meters from the shore on the North Beach there was a
great show put on by all the sailors.
After the going through the finish line for the final time, the next race was to get the boats back up
the slip and join the queue for some Hamburgers and a drink outside the club.
