Tower Cup - Islands to Starboard 2026

11 boats braved the breeze on Sunday morning, 31st May. As they set off for the islands the rain came in and brought some breeze! As they rounded the back of Church Island the wind dropped slightly as they headed for Shenick Island. When the lead Albacores made it round the wind dropped to about 5 knots and there was a great drifting race going on as the wind filled in and fell away for about 20 minutes. Inis Rua was came around Red Island to shorten the course for the finish line just as the breeze picked back up and all the boats flew up the South Strand and up to the finish line just off the Captains!
